Ok big deal here.  New song off Phoenix' upcoming album Bankrupt!  due out April 22nd.
I guess I'm a pretty big fan of Phoenix, so of course I think it's pretty good.  I love their sound and I love the lead singers voice.  Give it listen.  You should definitely enjoy this one!

Who doen't love Depeche Mode?  Nobody, that's who.
No matter.  In case you missed it, Depeche Mode ruled the airwaves during much of the 80s and 90s, so they are just about bonafide legends.  Guess who has a new track out.  That's right, Guns 'n' Roses.  Just kidding.  Depeche Mode's new tune "Heaven"is a peaceful, yet heavy-hearted song that you can't help but enjoy. So I have an apartment-mate, his name is Gino.  He is from the Philippines.  International school, friends all over the world, yada yada yada.  This is one of his good mates from back home.
Chris Gavino, releasing as Manila Killa, has some pretty sweet tracks up on his Soundcloud.
Last year, I think, he remixed this classic early 2000s tune: Heaven by DJ Sammy.  This year, as a Valentine's special, he's releasing a second remix, and its definitely worth a listen.

A group we've posted about before, Body Language, released new material today, which they're giving away a donation that is up to your discretion.  Grammar EP features the track "The First," which we featured a few days back.

Bankrupt! - Phoenix

French band Phoenix have announced the release date of their upcoming album 'Bankrupt!' earlier, and it is now set to come out the week of the 22nd of April.  It will be their first since 2009's "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix." They also released a list of track titles.  Tantalizing.  I for one cannot wait.

"A Tattered Line Of Sting" - The Postal Service

Ok Ok, big news here.  New track from the Postal Service.  Remember these guys?  If you don't, you should.  I didn't and my roommate kindly obliged me and gave me a re-introduction a few weeks back (or maybe more, who knows really...) when news of new material reached his ears.  So here is one of their new tracks.  There's a string of European shows lined up, as well as some festival appearances by this band.  I always say enjoy at the end of my posts, or at least try to, but here I don't think I should have to.

And look at that I just posted Pile of $$$ by Caged Animals, and I'm already posting another song of their's.  And again, a really cool video.  Held a summer job a couple block from where it was filmed.  This sort of thing always makes me happy, or at the very least smile with satisfaction.  Enjoy.

I'm really tempted to try and squeeze a little pun in hear.  Something about being in the same vein as another artist.  Alas this morning is not my wittiest, and artist names are coming to me slowly.  Something about midterm season just has that effect. Anyways, check out these guys, Sameblod.  All I can say is of course their Swedish.  Gosh.

"Titan" - The Physics House Band

A really awesome rock track.  You can hear its heritage in its rising and falling, in its guitar, and its drums.  Reminds me a little of some late 60s rock updated with modern trends and instruments.

"Tightrope" - Walk The Moon (School of Seven Bells Remodel)

Last spring I went through a pretty intense Walk the Moon phase. Much to my dismay, I find that they tend to not remix all that well.  School of Seven Bells however put together this little ditty of a remix (a bit of an understatement).  Feast your ears.  Also, if you are familiar with Walk the Moon's "debut" album of the same name, listen to their real debut, i want! i want! which they released themselves in 2010.  A couple of the tracks are different, but it changes the entire feel of the album.
